The term euthanasia originates from the greek language and translates as “a good death”. The practice of helping pet’s transition from life to death in a painless, dignified and humane way is a gift that we as veterinarians have. Saying good-bye to our faithful companions is one of the most difficult decisions we as pet owner will ever make. Dr. Kirsten MacKenzie is dedicated to making this transition from life to death as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
At-home euthanasia services will allow you to choose how you would like to say goodbye to your cherished and faithful companion. You and others who care for your pet may be present and allowed to grieve in the privacy of your own home. Your furry family member is able to spend his or her last moments where they are most comfortable, at home surrounded by family, friends and other family pets. Please don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Kirsten MacKenzie directly. Your initial phone or email consult is complimentary and Dr. Kirsten considers it an honor to help you celebrate your pet’s life as they journey from this world to the next.
